6 APC STATE GOVERNORS WHO WILL NOT WIN 2019 ELECTION
SHOCKING!!!
6 APC State Governors Who Will NOT Win 2nd Term 2019 Elections – Party Unveils
Bloody List
A
chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has unveiled five top
APC Governors, who may not win the forthcoming 2019 elections, due to under
performance and other political intricacies.
As
Post-Nigeria waits to see how things fine-tune within the State, 2019 might be
an interesting clip in the political corridor of Nigeria.
The Governors are as follows:
1. YAHAYA BELLO OF KOGI STATE:
The
All Progressives Congress, APC, in the State is at war with Yahaya Bello, who
controversially emerged as the Governor of Kogi State.
Recently,
the State’s chapter of the APC, passed a vote of no confidence on Yahaya Bello,
accusing him of side-lining members of the State Executive Council, and other
organs of the party, in the affairs of the State.
Also,
stakeholders of the party in the State, recently called for the probe of Yahaya
Bello, over alleged anti-party activities at the party’s National Secretariat.
The
latest is the political war between Yahaya Bello and Senator Dino Maleye, who
had accused the Governor of under-development, and masterminding his attempted
assassination. All these things may hinder Bello’s re-emergence at the 2019
polls.
7 REASONS YAHAYA BELLO OF KOGI STATE
MAY NOT WIN A SECOND TERMS:-
1. Failed promises:
Their many failed
promises of the Yahaya Bello government
have led to some of the reason why the people may never vote for him, With the
‘Change’ of the APC, the citizen of Kogi state had bought into the idea of
seeing a state of their dream where there will be progressive change in
employment, payment of salary, electricity supply and education among several
others. None of this where met in his administration.
2. Nonpayment
of salary: The governor is accused of owing more
than 10 months worker salary and arrears, putting the masses in to confusion and
starvation. Also accused of mismanagement of state fund.
3. Continual worker
strake in his administration:
There is been
more than four strike action during his few time on sit due to his inability to
meet the worker demand. And From the research conducted on comment made by Kogi
state student pages on Facebook, more than 85% student will not vote him next
the election base on the fear that the strike might continue if he wins, while more
than 50% complain bitterly of the Hardship in the state and their inability to
pay their school. Due to nonpayment of workers salary in the state.
4.
Perceived insincerity:
Applauded for his
administration’s efforts so far in the war against Kidnaping in the state, the
present administration is however accused of insincerity over the same issues. According
to a political analyst, majority of kogits are also skeptical over the
administration’s fight against insecurity, despite that there is numerous record
of kidnapping and silent assassination within the state which is believe is political.
Also, there is a perception that
government might not be telling the whole truth.
5. Wrong
Employment: -
According
to a political analyst a government who surround himself with inexperience and incompetent
hands, is destine to fail. Research prove that 65% of his appointment goes to non-qualify
personnel.
6. Non-respect
for Elders: the governor gone so far stepping on
the toes of political leaders and elder which might be a hindrance to his successful
rerun.
Is it is said
that what an elder will see when sit down, a child will not see it even when he
climb the tree.
7. Slow
development:- The kogit are
also skeptical over his administration’s despite the hug monthly allocation,
revenue and bailout, his government still owe worker, no tangible development
could be record except for the ministry of revenue built by him.
2. SAMUEL ORTOM OF BENUE STATE:
Benue
State has not been a peaceful State since Ortom took over power from Gabriel
Suswam, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who steered the affairs of the
State for 8 years. Suswam’s administration was however marred with gross
embezzlement and misappropriation of State funds.
Ortom
of the APC, slugged it out with Tehermen Tarzoor, to emerge as the State’s
Chief Executive. Ever since then, Benue State has witnessed series of communal
clashes and displacement; especially form the marauding Fulani herdsmen, who
have brazenly killed residents in their numbers, leading to dissertation of
homes and villages.
Ortom
has done nothing concrete as the State Governor, in securing his people against
the killers. Ortom recently confessed that the herders’ invasion in the State,
is beyond his powers as the Governor.
3. EL-RUFAI OF KADUNA STATE:
El-Rufai’s
chances of returning as the Governor of Kaduna State are very slim, even if he
has intentions to. The Governor has been faced with a lot of criticisms, among
which are the Army-Shitte Massacre under his watch, though Nigerians and the
Muslim community are keenly watching his moves and steps, towards resolving his
crisis through the Commission set up.
Elrufai’s
number one enemy and political watchdog, Senator Shehu Sani, is another factor
that may stand as a stumbling block against the former FCT Minister, who was
known for various demolition of structures at the Nation’s capital, which he is
currently replicating as the helmsman in the Kaduna Government office.
All
these factors may pose a greater challenge for El-Rufai’s second coming into
the office of the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, in 2019.
4. ABUBAKAR SANI BELLO OF NIGER STATE:
It
took the administration of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, almost four months to
settle down to business, upon assumption of office, last year.
Even
after the Executive Council was constituted, allotting portfolios to the
members became a herculean task, primarily because of vested political
interests.
A
couple of months ago, a massive road construction programme in Minna, the State
capital, and some other roads in the 25 Local Government headquarters began.
In
the health sector, some sort of transformation are being witnessed in the
general hospitals, as a result of the monthly release of funds for the
day-to-day administration of the institutions, which resulted in the improved
physical structure of the Minna General Hospital and the IBB Specialist
Hospital. However, these institutions have continued to grapple with the
problem of inadequate manpower, especially Medical Doctors, Nurses and
Pharmacists.
Nonetheless,
the powers that be in the State, are determined to kick him out of office,
ahead of 2019.
5. AMINU BELLO MASARI OF KATSINA
STATE:
Masari’s
administration has not been without criticisms, even with his developmental
efforts. He has been attacked for spending huge funds on projects.
Masari,
an APC Governor, recently came under intense pressure in the State, for
painting a public school in the State with colours similar to his party’s flag.
The decision by Masari to paint schools building with APC colour, came under
criticism by the public, who believed the conventional public school colour
should be maintained, as an identity peculiar to the schools.
Also,
others cautioned Governor Masari to give priority to enhancing Teachers
teaching capacity, and also provide teaching materials to these schools, before
embarking on cosmetic painting of schools that will not have any effect on the
students’ understanding during learning periods.
Sometime
ago, Masari was hit by the Nigerian social media, for his empowerment scheme of
distributing 720 high breed of goats worth N104 million to 240 women. This was
calculated to be N144, 000 for a goat. He said that each of the 240 women
selected across the 34 Local Governments, would be given two female goats and
one male goat.
